This years long course BUCS was the last for team captains Leah Altoft and James Shiel as well as long time club members Jenny Fowler and Andrew Norman. However, it was also the first for many and as ever DUSC represented as one of the loudest and proudest clubs on poolside! With the club competing against future Olympians such as Ben Proud (aka Jono Dixon's twin) everyone did exceedingly well with countless personal best times and two club records as well as the women's and men's relay teams making finals!The teams celebrations continued after the competition had ended with underwater pictures in the diving pool courtesy of Alastair Bingham's camera. After a long journey home the post BUCS social was postponed for a couple of days so that it would be as fun as ever. Fresher Sammy managed to clock the most fines and the night ended with captain James Shiel being lifted victoriously in the air in Klute.
