This years short course BUCS was a huge success with 8 DUSC records being broken and many more personal best times being set! There were 3 individual finalists: Emily Jones in the 50 freestyle final, Alistair Bingham in the 200m backstroke final and Leah Altoft, in her last short course BUCS making the 50m butterfly final. There was also success in the relays with the women's team making the final of the 200m medley and the men making the final of the 200m freestyle.
There was a great atmosphere on the poolside as the entire team supported each other with this years large cohort of freshers getting involved too! There were plenty of fines to go around and a special forfeit was given to three fresher boys and three fresher girls for arriving back late! The squad had the best team spirit on poolside which matched the large and ever present DUSC banner!
