We cater to a wide range of abilities from ex-swimmers looking to get back involved, to county level swimmers, right the way up to National champions (click here to find out about our performance program). If you have a background in swimming there is almost certainly a level for you!

Who are we?
DUSC is a competitive swimming club at Durham University. Our main competitive squad offers six pool sessions and two land sessions, all instructed by coaches.
Our main competitions include three BUCS events: Short Course Championships (November), Long Course Championships (February) and the Team Championships (date varies). These events take place at Ponds Forge in Sheffield.
We also compete in the British Universities Swimming League (BUSL). BUSL takes place more locally to Durham and competitions occur regular throughout the year. There is also the option of competing at county and regional championships, with medallists each year.

One of the best things about DUSC is our ability to both enable swimmers to improve while maintaining the relaxed atmosphere in the club. Due to this, we pride ourselves on being one of the most inclusive clubs in Durham!
